Well with my family it was always Thanksgiving with my Dad's family and then Christmas with my Mom's family. It's always been that way.  Christmas Eve dinner involved a baked ham and then Christmas Day dinner involved a turkey.  (and of course the leftover ham).  When we were kids, we would open all the presents on Christmas Eve to make room for the presents that Santa was going to bring during the night.  We kept up the present opening on the Eve even after we all got old enough to not play the Santa game anymore.

Because I was just born inately awesome.  Yes I was... I'm inately awesome.. And you are too... Quit trying so hard to "BE" anything. Mr. Rogers had a point.... He likes you just the way you are . . . and so should you. 

People do many different things to cope with stress, loss, and "bumps in the road". How do you handle stress and hard times?

I bitch and moan and cry lkike a little girl . . . and sometimes I eat a whole helluva lot.  I didn't say I coped with stress WELL!

Three Things I Want to Learn
    1.  How to use a Samarai Sword. (yes it's over the top but I think it would be wicked cool)
    2.  How to cook Indian food
    3.  How to speak Spanish

Three Things I can teach
    1.  How to play piano
    2.  How to be better in algebra
    3.  How to tie your shoes.

Uh there's a Kroger one even though I don't live near a Kroger anymore. And there's a Staples one.  I think that's it. I used to have a CVS one until I moved away from any CVS's. (yes this means boonies)

I played piano better than anyone in town. I was the child prodigy kid.

Yes I have quite a few in my family.  I have veterans from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.  I don't have any from the latest wars though.
