List five reasons (at least) why you are awesome.
Submitted by goobers18.
I'm smart.
I'm a good musician.
Sometimes I can make you laugh.
I am cootie free
Because I was just born inately awesome. Yes I was... I'm inately awesome.. And you are too... Quit trying so hard to "BE" anything. Mr. Rogers had a point.... He likes you just the way you are . . . and so should you.
I got my State Fair riding and funning on. I saw crazy realistic phallic looking corn dogs. (SCARY!) and all sorts of other portable foods. I rode some rides including my favorite fair ride, the swinging boat. I have no idea the swinging boats actual name but it is the big boat that swings side to side.... and if you sit at the back, it feels like you're lying flat on your face when the boat is at the top. good times.
I also went into the Hall of Industry which wasn't much industry and a lot of government entitities instead: The Attorney General's office, Pulaski County Clerk's office, the state police, little rock police, the fire department, ROTC . . . all of that crap....
I did manage get my handwriting analyzed which amuses me greatly. See back in the day when I was going to be a concert pianist and travel the world, I practiced my signature so that I would give a "good autograph" The "S" I totally forced myself to do it that way.
SO when I read something about how handwriting equals character or personality or something, I laugh and laugh because well . .my signature is something I trained myself to do. But for all our amusements . . . . here it is . . .

I woke up one day last week with this sense that I wasn't going to let my demons control me, I was going to control the fucking demons. It was just one of those psychological plate techtonic style shifts... but it seems to have stuck and it feels good.
Here's to permanent change! cheers... (that's for you to go get a drink . . . I'm giving you an excuse to drink . . TAKE IT!! TAKE ITTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
People do many different things to cope with stress, loss, and "bumps in the road". How do you handle stress and hard times?
Submitted by RedlyGal.
I bitch and moan and cry lkike a little girl . . . and sometimes I eat a whole helluva lot. I didn't say I coped with stress WELL!
- Of course, I bought and read Harry Potter the day it came out. I didn't stay up until midnight and actually bought it on Saturday day. I read it over the course of two days because I'm old. It was AMAZING! It managed to tie a lot together.
- I read this second on in maybe an hour while sitting in a Barnes and Nobel one day. It's an easy read. It's the story of a dying woman and her remembering a passionate love. It's written in a stream of conscious style that is mesmerizing. But I didn't like it because i didn't buy the premise.
- Interesting book about how peer pressure and parental control can wreak havoc on adolescent girls. Has lots of case studies. Not as academic as you would think
- Very indepth book about depression including autobiographical details, history of meds, history of psychology, and a whole bunch of other stuff. . . yet it manages to not be too pretentious.
- I love this guy.
